Yes the Handguard allen head cap screws are metric heads (even though the threads might be imperial machine screw sized, I have not put them on a thread gauge to check).

It is a Vortex Spitfire 3X prism sight. My understanding is magnifiers will not work on prism sights. Regardless 3X magnification is adequate for what the rifle is designed for in my opinion. However if more magnification is needed, a rifle scope is a better solution.

Here's a better pic of my second one. I'm just going to stick with the Troy irons on this one. I really enjoyed getting back to shooting without optics. Thanks to driller212 for the inspiration. I almost forgot how much fun it is :cheers:

You should flip that front sight around to mimic an AR better

I will be using Mission First tactical 10 round Pistol Mags. All the Hera, Mission First and Fab Defense poly mags fit in smoothly and drop free easily. Will see how they feed when I go shooting. Also have a bunch of RRA 10 round pistol mags and will see how they fit and feed when I go as well. Other than a bit of slop between upper and lower and the gas block touching the handguard (From what I can see) very pleased with the unit. Will shoot it first to see if any bugs or if the gas block touching or the slop gets worse/has any practical effect on accuracy before going the warranty route. Otherwise really neat rifle and comfortable to hold and shoulder.

Thanks for the info.....its greatly appreciated.....will keep this in mind whatever route I choose for this rifle

i find it accurate for my needs, i was only shooting at 40 yards but i'm sure but i don't see why i couldn't do the same at 100 or more, Obviously having a bigger scope makes a difference. From what i hear a Magnifier wont give you the best results with a prism sight.

Hahaha yup that's for sure.

But for some reason I'm finding myself having more fun with my 180's than I've had with anything else in a long time.
 
Yup, its a really fun rifle. I have been thoroughly enjoying mine.

I look forward to seeing how that 300blk conversion progresses!
 
I don't get it.. How did everyone get theirs... I put my pre order in when they first did pre orders... What is going on

My first WK that arrived was ordered (from SFRC) on August 9th, I received it on August 23rd.

I only had to wait 14 days. :stirthepot2:
