Amazing what an old 222 Rem and a 6X scope can do when loaded with anything from 40 gr Ballistic Tips to 70 gr Speer soft points.



Especially in a 50+ year old rifle.



Haven't been out at all this winter...... yet.

It is a great rifle. I need to get some more yote friendly projectiles. All I have is 117gr SST's.

Yep...... the bob is very versatile..... much like a .243.....

Mine is set up for deer and antelope with 119 gr. bullets ..... it’s actually my favourite rifle in the collection...

I am going to give this Sako L579 22-250 with a Leupold 4.5-14 a go this year. Last year it was an A1 222 HB but I think I will try a weight reduction.

My new calling set up rem 22-250 45gr jhp whitebox winchesters. Killed a ton of dogs with these. Added a magpul dbm since it can be a pain getting in and out of the truck when u do ten setups a morning. Put a Zeiss 3x9 which is plenty for a coyote caller like me

The young fella with his Tikka t3 30-06 and a Meopta 3x9. This is a good solid hunting rig that does not break the bank. The scope is reasonably priced and very good quality.

Troy PAR .308 loaded with 110gr vmax handloads. Redfield Battlezone 3-9x42. Very effective combo, maybe a little hard on the pelt.

My first trip out hunting with it last weekend,Bang FLOP instantly down who says a 223 is too light for deer.Gun is a lazer beam!!
