This is the e-mail that I sent to RA...I am not honestly expecting a reply

Thomas,

I am asking you to please explain to me what is going on with the defective R22's. For over 5 months now many of us have been jerked around about recieving new bolts to fix the problem and yet nothing is happening. Looking at your website I see that you are busy building 3rd Generation Rifles and new R22 SD's and yet all of us who purchased products from your company have been screwed.
I read other sites that praise you for dealing with other issues and yet for 5 months now all the people in Canada have had nothing but the run-around from you.
I really like the rifle, but it is no good to me if it won't fire.
Beyond having a defective rifle I am disgusted at the fact that Rhineland Arms offers a warranty on its products and yet won't honor that warranty.
Many people agree that they like the look of the R22 and the R22 SD but would never purchase any product from RA because of the treatment so many of us have recieved
I am asking you to please respond to this e-mail and tell me honestly if you are planning on rectifying this issue or not and if yes, when?

Sincerely

I don't want to piss on anyone's parade but, seeing as how TSE and other dealers are getting the brush off I don't think a few concerning letters from Canadian owners will make much difference. Seeing as how the Canadian market for most US companies is more of a PITA than a profitable venture, I'll be banking on a "no show" for replacement parts. That's the down side of living and shooting in Canada.

I totaly agree...I don't expect a reply, but I figured if nothing else at least he knows that he has lost, what could have been a profitable market...the canadian market could have been huge business for RA considering the R22 is what people here have been looking for, for a long time.

Holy #$@^ Batman, Thomas replyed...

Hello,

We are shipping parts up there. Not much is able to get through. Trying to
find a solution to a problem you cant see and then trying to put the
solution into the form a new machined part takes time.

Thanks
Thomas
