I keep seeing these Leupold clones ,but have woundered what people have mounted them on and how are they holding up? anyone mounted them on there AR15s? M-305's ,bolt action 308's etc....... will they take the recoil of semi's or big caliber bolt actions? and is there any warrintys on these? ( I know they are made in china ,but so are some bushnells,simmons,tascos..etc..)

I've got 2 of them .... the 3.5x10x40mm knockoffs... I have them mounted on my .223 Rem M700 Groundhog gitter and on my CZ452 .22 LR (wannabe sniper) practice rifle.

I love them AT that price point. The do that 'price point job' really well.

I would not use them for super serious applications like my competitions. For those serious jobs, I call on my ACOG's and Leupolds. That's why I have $ 100 scopes (no longer TASCO or BUSHNELL's) on my less serious rifles.

Cheers,
Barney

I am like hungry, no more buying tasco or bushnell for my cheap scope till I can afford a leupold fix.... I have the Illuminated reticle model 3.5-10x40AO on my 10/22. need to get some lower rings but it will do for now and works great so far for target practice and a grouse gun.

I'm still waiting for proper results from TreeMugger's Leupold Mk4 clone..He has his set-up on a .308Win..Dunno if it held its point of aim or worst a busted lens..I heard some can take the .300WinMag's unforgiving recoil & blast.

The_big_mike has one on his M305/M14s seems to hold 0 quite well i think he put about 30 rounds through it and the smith put another 10 for zero checking

I have a 6-24X44 on my AR. I still have some tweaking to do, but I will be doing a range report as I go.

120 rounds in and so far it holding zero. I have yet to bench it but it shot well during the zero. Typical stuff like whacking the bolt release really hard with the palm of your hand didn't effect it.

Going to bench it next and see how much tighter and consitant I can get the groupings
