I recently purchased Leupold scope bases for my Tikka M595 rifle from a retail dealer that is shutting down his business. When I opened the package, I found all four mounting screws were stripped. It appears these bases have been previously sold, mounted, removed then returned to the dealer and resold to me.

OK, so I make a call (1-800 number) to Leupold looking for some replacement screws fully expecting to pay for replacement screws & postage. After all, it is not Leupold fault that some ass damaged the screws then returned them.
No problem StoneHorse, what is your name & address and we will send you four replacement screws at no charge. Thank you for your business.

Now, four small screws should not be an issue and any cost would be nominal. But I have in the past (from other companies) tried to obtain small parts and ran into such a roadblock as to cause me to see red and want to say nasty things to the moron on the other end of the phone line.
Bottom line is, thank you Leupold for sending me the screws no questions asked, with no problems and no cost to me.
.
I guess I should purchase a Leupold scope next?
