I have the non-pro Deltapoint, (7.5 triangle) and there has been some sport in getting it configured for my 1895GS. Firstly, the mounts on the receiver made the sight too high for comfortable cheek weld. I didnt even try shooting it as such, it was that bad. Next, I knocked the rear sight out of its dovetail groove, made a tapped dovetail insert, grabbed an adapter from the kit, and mounted the sight there. It looked and felt much better, so I went to sight it in. Problem is, I ran out of vertical adjustment on the sight due to the taper of the barrel- best I could get was 6" high at 50 yards. So now I've made a shim to put between the adapter and the barrel, but haven't had a chance to install and try it out yet.
It is a worthwhile project though, and I hear that the DPP doesnt need to be dismounted to change the battery- mine will. Oh well, I caught it on sale at WSS, and if this doesnt work out I'll put it on a pistol lol
