hey anyone fitted the 1-4 pig plex on their ruger 1, how is it to mount an whats the go? need a 4b0 or does it suit with standard rings?

$479 down here, not that i will be rushing out but if one pops up it would seem , good....

You'll probably want an extended set of rings to get the scope back far enough. That's been my experience with the Leupold VXIII 1.75-5x scopes. Had a pig-plex (and a Patrol) years ago but replaced them with the older 1-inch VXIIIs. Just a matter of preference.

I had a vx freedom pigplex 1-4 and used a 4bo.

Too short for the normal rings

Had VX-Freedom 1.5-4x20mm with low ring mounts on my 450M No.1-S worked ok.
