Leupold Fricion adjustments?

same way you adjust any scope. its marked on the turret. not as precise takes a little longer than a click adjustable scope but once set makes no difference for a hunting rifle

It's harder to count than one with clicks you can feel. I have two older M8 4X scopes. I have to physically count the lines on the dial if I'm adjusting.

They just require the operator to pay a little more attention when you're adjusting them. There's nothing wrong with them other than being less idiot-proof.

It's not so much pay attention as shoot to confirm.
With good click adjustable scopes you can dial up clicks and know that each click is 1/4 mow or 1 cm at 100 meters.
You still need to pay attention but the adjustments are repeatable through the audible clicks.
The tension system is more "set and forget....." If you need to extend your range or compensate for wind you do it the old fashion way.....

obviously there something wrong if a coin can not turn them, from your comment you sound like the guy that goes and gets a bigger hammer..

I don't think BUM was suggesting that there is nothing wrong with your scope ( sounds like it needs a trip to Alberta for a tune and lube).... he was trying to say there is nothing wrong with friction adjustment in general.

Thanks Can-down. I was speaking in the global sense. If you can't turn them with a coin then it needs a trip to Okotoks.
