Leupold LTO Thermal Imaging monocular

I was in a local firearms store last Saturday and was given a demonstration in regards to this item. I have no doubt that some will use it for
less than ethical purposes, but for those of us who walk into our stands etc in the dark, and have been busted on more occasions than we care to
admit to, it might be worthwhile to look at. We have all had downed animals that have been hard to locate or that we have lost, it might also
be worth it to help in finding a downed animal. Close to $1,000, but I am seriously thinking about it. Check them out on the Leupold site. A very
interesting item, and a lot less money than many similar items out there.

Thermo is a grate tool
Evan for quick scanning of clear cut's and looking fore animals bedded down
I had a scout theromo and it saved a lot of time in the clear cuts
Thay are no good on warm days and early morning is best as well as in the cold

I had a chance to play with one a couple months ago and they are pretty cool. However I'm not buying this one because of the lack of optical zoom, the digital zoom makes the tracker useless very quick.

I was looking to use it primarily in November, we walk in along bush trail / roads in the dark and across one large field which gets
us busted quite frequently simply because we can't see properly. Both of the above comments are worthwhile information
for me.
