Leupold M8 scopes.

I see alot of these in the EE, are these rimfire scopes?

But I guess what Im asking is, is rimfire there intended use? I keep looking at them to put on a centerfire!

They are a big game scope at home on a 375 all the way down to a .22 rimfire. Should work good for most hunting situations.

I have M8 4X28 Leupolds on six of my big game rifles, from 243 to 9.3X62, and have killed game at beyond 400 yd with them.

Probably all you need for 99% of your hunting.

What would be a fair price for a good condition used one?

$150-200 for a M8 4x. A little for for an M8 6x. They are great scopes, especially for long action rifles where that little bit extra tube length comes in handy.

I have a 4x on a .30-06, a 6x on a .270 and a 7.5x on a .22-250.
