Took my XCR (.223) out to the range today. It is outfitted with the above mentioned sight. Usually I can do better than 3 inch grouping at 100yards with any 55gr bulk ammo. Usually my XCR fires like a dream. Today I wasn't even on paper! I was checking my splash and was about 2 feet low. After 30 rounds, some sight adjustments and a lot of swearing I still got nowhere. It seems I was all over the map. i also noticed was seemed to be a wavy type view at the target. It was almost like what you see on a hot summers day when heat is distorting the image off in the distance. My experience with sights are pretty limited. Anyone have any advice? Also worth mentioning is I was at about a 6 inch grouping at 25 yards with a bipod.

And for you XCR haters it wasn't the XCR, everything was nice and tight.

Thanks!

Not that I'm an XCR Hater, but did you try popping the scope off and using the iron sights to shoot a bit to eliminate the gun / ammo as a possibility?

Send it in to korth if some thing is wrong they will fix it and send it back. Check and make sure your rings and bases are still tight. A loose screw or two can cause headaches.

Snow and warm sunny days cause a lot of mirage this time of year as well.
