I like mine so far. The eye relief is fairly short, so you need to get it nice and close for it to be "comfortable". The factory mount sucks nuts, I want to get a LaRue for it, but I have other things ahead of that priority-wise.
It seems fairly bright, and as already stated, having the etched reticle is very nice. Also, the integral picatinny rails are nice if you want to have a secondary optic like a Docter Optics MRD, or an Aimpoint Micro or something. Or even a small laser sight.
I got mine from my buddy that got probably 2 of the last ones that got into canada (quite a few years ago). He had the 2nd one sitting around in a box for years. I have used his a few times and really like it, so thats what prompted me to get his 2nd one.
You might also want to check out the Trijicon TR24 1-4x. Its got the tritium/fibre optic illumination (so no batteries) and they have been getting pretty good reviews. Also with cost of the CQT, you could get a TR24 with a nice 1-piece mount (ADM or something). I haven't had any experiance, but the Nightforce is said to be a good optic too.
As a side note, the eye relief of the TR24 is 3", so its the same at 1-4x as the CQT is at 1x.

dot size is 9moa at 1x power, and 3moa at 3x power, so its a little bit better of a precision dot at 3x, and better for CQB at 1x. I actually really like that the reticle doesn't change "size" as the image zooms in (unlike the knockoff clones)
