Leupold problem?

I have a vx11 2x7 Leupold scope which has some whitish color lube or grease showing on the threads for the focus and power ring. I have never seen any sign of lube on any of the other leupolds scopes I have owned. Is this a concern? Should I send it to be inspected? What is the address for the warranty service in Canada?

that doesn't mean it wont in the future (after his warranty expires)

if it is free to send it in, why not do it, at least for clarity of mind

Its a Leupold . His warranty is good forever.

He did say it was a leupold,so the warranty will always be in effect.If you are really concerned,call leupold and tell them what you found.
