How do you tell if they are tight enough. Should the levers on the base go 180 degrees over, i.e. be back at a position parallel to the base. OR is it good enough just to get my thumb white hot and no feeling?
White hot and no feeling is too tight... they just need to be snug and I have not had any loosen on their own... its a bit of a problem if you break one off.
x2... I have them on 2 rifles and find that the angles of rotation are different front to back - neither are horizontal. As long as they are both tight to the firm thumb they work fine..
