Leupold QR Bases

What's the word on them? Good? Reliable?

Looking for the lowest possible height for a QD/QR setup and those got my attention.

The QR bases are a solid choice if you need a repeatable QR system.

I have them on three rifles. They aren't as elegant as EAW / Recknagel, but they do work OK and they are considerably lower.

I have them on a BAR and like them... I don’t know if I would put them on a heavy recoil rifle, they seem a bit flimsy but so far on my BAR 30-06 they seem ok!

They have stood up to the recoil of my .375 H&H

Do you feel/know they are lower than QD rings on weaver/picatinny rail?

They held up well on a loaner, i had in the north, on a 300 weatherby magnum with a vxii 3-9x40, despite floatplane and boat.

Base looks similar and the ring is definitely lower with not having the lever lock mechanism
