I am just wondering if anyone has tried the new leupold range finder. I have one of the older ones and hated it. Half of the time it would work and when it did the range seemed to be off.
 
Never tried them. Read some reveiws and for the $$, they didn't seem that great. I picked up an new Elite 1500 for $337, and while it is a little larger than I would like, for that price it works very well...
 
I picked up an Leupold RX-IV, two years ago, which was their top end model. I really like it. I usually don't jump at top end anything, but after dissapointments with other rangefinders I got fed up and opened up my wallet. So far it performs exactly as it should. I'd never go back to a cheaper rangefinder. Nice features like bullet drop calculations on the display are quite handy as well!
