Leupold replica scopes on ebay

Yeah yeah. I can understand what everyone is saying but i'm not looking for a good scope i'm looking for a cheap one. I dont want a scope worth more than the gun cost me. I assume nobody has any first hand experience with these.

tasco makes some pretty cheap scopes, and atleast they are not nockoffs of something good! im sure they have a decent warranty atleast that you can actually use!

I wouldn't buy from someone with only 7 feedbacks. Nobody who bought from him has probably put it on a real rifle yet. Wait a month and see if any negs.

I love my Tasco Varmint 10-40x50mm i've got on my Savage .308. 200 rounds and holds zero flawlessly. I've went back and fourth from zero at 100 to zero at 300 and it returns to zero perfect every time. For a little over $150, you can't go wrong.

Your scope is one of the most important pieces.

IMHO, your scope should be worth at least as much as your rifle.

I always laugh when guys at the range show up with a $2000.00 + rifle and have a $200.00 scope on it.Then complain how the scope doesn't hold zero, or the adjustments aren't repeatable, etc.

Spend the $$$$$ any buy decent optics. This will save you headaches in the long run.

The "cheapest" scope I own goes for around $1200.00 ish.

I have roughly $6000.00 invested in 3 scopes & an Aimpoint.Never had a problem with any of them and the glass is clear & bright. They return to zero and the adjustments are precise & repeatable.

SKBY.

I've also learned that I can not afford to buy "cheap" optics. Buy once and buy right.

I definately agree that you get what you pay for. The reasoning behind my post is that if i am going to buy a tasco hunk o junk why not get something that looks cool in the same pricerange. For all we know its probably made at the same factory. I'm not looking for a serious long range scope. i just want a cheap scope for a $300 dollar rifle. If nobody has one yet i'm sure as hell not going to be the first one to get one.

tasco may be cheap and may not look as cool as a leup nock off, but im sure tasco atleast has a decent warranty that you can use with out as much hassle as a chinese pice o crap off the net, i can almost bet dollars to donuts that for that price they have no coatings on the lenses... china does make them like that..
and id say its not worth the postage stamp to ship them letalone the price the guy wants.

You're really serious, right? Why would you not look for a good used scope instead of a complete unknown?

The Tasco's really are better than what you're looking at here, I can almost guarantee it. If you must go cheaply (I did the same on guns like a cheap .17HMR, even had a Tasco on a $1500 Kimber  but it worked) go with a Bushnell or something half ass. Now all I own is Leupolds and an EoTech (we'll forget about the junk bin with its population that'll never see the light of day :) )
