Hi all,

I got this pair in an exchange, he told me it is for 11mm dovetails but when I take a closer look they are of different sizes:

I dont think he is trying to mess with me on purpose but I cannot use it on my 11mm Zastava, I did a search online:
https://www.cabelas.ca/product/88922/leupold-cz-11mm-dovetail-ringmounts
This set looks pretty similar.

Can anyone help me to confirm what rifle is this set for?

Thank you!
Dean

Why does that have to be a "set" - European makers did the top edge of their dovetails at 11 mm wide, normally using 60 degree cutters. North American makers usually use 45 degree cutters - the tips (bottom of the dovetail) are usually 3/8" apart so the top often like 12.5 mm or so. Not the same. I do not think the two rings that you show are the same either ...

So I guess he is not honest with me then, these 2 rings are from different 'pairs' and I cannot use them.

It certainly looks that way.

Does either of them fit the gun?

the smaller one fits my zastava MP22 11mm dovetail, but barely. The larger one, I believe it is a weaver size... I tried to aruge he ask me to buy a pair in CTires and then return this pair, I am not gonna do that, just eat my loss and never deal with this person again

Wait, are you saying he offered to take them back if you buy some from CT, or is he saying you should return these rings to Canadian Tire in the packaging from another set? Because if its the latter, thats ####ing sleazy...

Im giving a really hard second on what Suther has previously said. So some poor fellahs gonna buy these and continue the FING thats already happend. Great attitude and think this clown should be openly posted here so we can all put him on the IGNORE LIST. Unbelievable. Only bright side is SAKO rings are not cheap so if you can find what rifle they fit ,you may do ok.

Hi, this guys is not from GN but from GP, I did block his phone number, water under the bridge. I am trying to exchange this set with 11mm dovetail or weaver right now. Thanks!

Not a set of rings they are rings from two sets of different size rings and useless except for some one that needs parts for other rings.

I checked with Leupold tech support, they said 'more than likely they are sako rings'
Too bad I do not have a serial number on the rings to confirm that

Is not clear from your pictures why you think those are Leupold brand rings? I have never owned a Sako rifle - two different width dovetail rails on the same rifle??

They are Leupold rings made to fit the Sako dovetail which is tapered. I have used many of them over the years... Light, simple and strong...

Would you care to take this pair off my hands?
Maybe you know someone who knows someone who needs them lol

I have retired and have no need for your rings... advertise them on the EE. There is nothing wrong with them, they are excellent to use on a hunting rifle. They retail for over $100...
