Leupold scope value

can some one help me. I would like to put FS but do not know value of a Leupold vari-x III 1.5x5.

Our new VXIII 1.5-5 is selling for $559.00. If it is near new condition and is a VX you should get about 80% of new value. If it is a Vari XIII then about 70 % of new value. If scope has any obvious wear on the exterior then might be another 10-15 % less. Phil.

I believe they also produced the Vari-X III 1.5-5 in standard and multi-coated versions. A multi-coated version would be worth more than the standard single coated version which had excessive flare in the ocular under certain conditions...notwithstanding they are a nice compact unit that can cover most peoples big game hunting needs.
