Anyone else had experience with these? I acquired a Rem 760 that came with them and the 1-piece base. When I lay my scope (vx11 2-7) in there the middle of the scope (where windage/elevation knobs are) is VERY tight to the base and pretty much touching I'd say. Normal??

Yup, normal.
I have a bunch of super low's on 700's with a 2 piece base and works fine.
Just picked up a Rem 600, put a 1 piece base on and wasn't thinking when I put super low's on it.
Scope won't clear the base.
Have to try low's or maybe mediums depending on how they fit.
