Leupold Sunshade on Redfield Scopes

I read on the internet that a Leupold 40mm Sunshade will in fact fit on a Redfield Revolution 4-12x40 scope, can anyone confirm this? I know Leupold bought Redfield, so it would somewhat make sense that it just might fit, am just looking for confirmation, as I have used the search but didn't quite find the info I was looking for.

It will fit. As will the flip up lens covers, a new Redfield is a Leupold

Reviving an old thread here in regards to the 50mm.

Does anyone have any information on whether any of the Leupold sunshades will fit the Revolution in 50mm. I have read in a couple older posts that some of the other objectives are compatible. Are there any other sunshades that might work if Leupold does not?
