I have this scope its an older model with top target turret and a mili dot reticle, I was just wondering what people thought it might be worth.

Scope is used but I would say it was in good to excellent condition.

A new vx3 in that magnification goes for much higher than $600,

$400-500 would be average for an older one in good condition. You could get more though, providing its in great condition.

At full retail, with the Canadian markup rape added in, the VX-3 in a 6.5-20 power starts at about $800-900. Of course if you were to break the ITARded regulations and import one, you could do it for under $700. I doubt you'll ever find a 6.5-20 VX-3 in Canada NIB for $600.

I assume it is a 1" scope not a 30mm. VX3 and III are 30mm and more expensive than 1 inchers. As well this seems to be a varmint model as the OP talks about a top target turret and not the windage. I didn't know they came in mildot reticle, maybe it was changed. This limits its value as a target scope.

Would be nice to have a photo or two showing details.

It is a 1" tube w an AO. I can't figure out how to attach a picture on here any suggestions?

I was just told it was a target scope and the ret is a "target Dot"
