Leupold variable adjustment...

I've got a few Leupold variables and they all seem to have very though to rotate adjustment rings. Anyone else has that problem, and is there a cure other than sending them to the repair depot?

The scopes are a VXIII, a VII LR and a Rifleman.

Time and use does it for me. They do get easier as you use them. - dan

I had the same problem with 2 new VX-II scopes. I dropped them off at Korth Agencies in Okotoks and had them back in less than a week.

When I called to talk to them I was told by one of the repair guys that Leupold was using some sort of harsh chemcial to clean the scope body before they finished assembly and it was eating the o-rings inside the power selector ring.

I dropped off 2 scopes on Sunday morning and had them in my mailbox Friday night.

They might not be as smooth as a VX-III but still about 1 million times better than what they were like before.
