Leupold VX-6 vs Zeiss HD5

VX7L 3.5-14 x 56. The 34mm tube coupled with the large glass draws in an unreal amount of light especially in the after hunting hours. ( it can be nice to know what the eyes watching you belong to...)

I had that same scope. Worst case of "tunnel vision" I've ever experienced on an optic, right up there with the Burris Timberline on my 17 HMR. I haven't checked out the VX6, but Leupold has been a big disappointment with what they call their high end line so far (VX7 and LPS). Hopefully the VX6 is better.

Now you gotta find 34 mm rings which are crazy expensive.
