Leupold VX-HOG 1-4x20 for sale in Canada?

Well if the Canadian distributor for Leupold (Korth) has it in stock, then I have found that Shooter's Choice (www.shooterschoice.ca) can usually get it in in a few short days as they are in the same neck of the woods as Korth and a small enough dealer to not mind ordering just one scope from the distributor.. I have also found Shooter's Choice to have excellent pricing on Leupold as well. I'd give them a call or shoot them an email and see if they either have one or can get one in quickly for you.
 
I have one on my AR15. It used to be on my military Mauser with a side mount. I really like it! The adjustment detents are not as solid as my VX-3 but still good. I think the quality is probably about VX-1... I actually ordered mine off amazon.ca, assuming it would ship from Canada. It actually shipped from the USA! Declared as a rifle scope for something close to $305 CAD. No US CBP tape, no CBSA tape, and no GST bill. Strange.
 
Aged with the above. It is a pretty basic scope and if you have the proper clearance above barrel why not go with a normal scope?
