I want to mount decent quality lower power scope on my cantilever rifled barrel for my 870. Does anybody own one, and how does it fare?

I have four 1.5-5's on some hard kicking rifles, one of my favourite scopes and very tough.
I have a VXII 1-4x20 on my Browning Gold hunter slug gun. Seems to work great.
Took a Bear with it last year. Bang flop. This scope has a wide field of view and seems to have lots of eye relief thats needed on hard recoil guns..I also have about four VXIII 1.5-5x20 on other rifles. Great scope! Look for an older Vari-X III 1.5-5x20 for under 350.00 under the optics...or maybe a used VXII 1-4x20 for well under 300.00

Thanks all, I ended up buying the aforementied VXI 1-4x20 for $252 + tax, minus 10%. It looks to be a nice scope and very clear glass.
