Anyone got good or bad things to say about this scope. Looking at the 4-12x50 for my 6.5CM Modern Hunter arriving soon. I really liked the Trijicon VCOG 1-4x24. It was one of those scopes you pick up, look through and instantly say yes. But I am buying the MH, 2 new SA pistols, a gun safe and a $500 club membership so don't want to go into deficit like the govt with a $3000 scope.
The specs on the VX-R look good. I will use the MH both at the range and hunting so a 4-12 scope is probably better. Cabelas have the scope for around $1100. And they have the 3x9 for $1000.

I really like the VXR series, but they seemed to be overpriced by ALOT. At $1100 you are getting close to nightforce SHV 4-14 prices.

I currently have one on my Tikka T3 Battue. They are worth the coin IMHO.

You can pick one up on the EE for alot less. I just let mine go for well below market value. It is a great scope.

I have a VXR 1-4x20 mounted on a lighter weight 458 winmag and have put about 220 full power rounds through it with no issues. Seems like a decent scope.
