how good are these scopes, what would be the biggest caliber rifle you would put one these on. 338 win mag, 325 wsm, 300 wby mag, just wondering if it would last, to me for the money it's one of the best deals going, vx1 3-9x40 for $338 taxes in

I feel there are better scopes in that price range. They do have a warranty though so giver if that's what you want. I just don't find the clarity worth the bucks. For the money a Bushnell 3500, Nikon pro staff 5, Burris full field are all clearer to my eyes. Or if your stuck on leupold, take your $340 to the ee and grab a nice, used vx2.

from all the web surfing I have done over the last few, burris fullfield doesn't last very long on big guns, prostaff 5 is a lesser scope than the burris, this scope MIGHT be going on a 300wby mag or 325 wsm, haven't made a trade yet, I have a 22-250 and a 303 british each with a burris fullfield 11 scopes on them
