Is it possible to get the paperwork so he could pick me up a scope there ?... Or is that something only available to a company ?

He would have brought it back if they wouldn't have informed him that he couldn't. They didn't really fully explain why he couldn't, that's why I asked here... I knew you guys would be able to tell me. I had never heard of it. I knew firearms and parts were something that was tricky, but never would have though scopes would be a problem.
...things like this is the main reason I joined this site... Information. And there's lots of it here.
