Leupold vx3

Came across a used scope, it's a leupold vx3 long range 6.5-20x40 duplex reticle ,with side focus & silver finish. I have never owned a leupold scope, but I'm sure that at this price I wouldn't mind trying one, what do these usually go for used?

Silver finish ones usually go for a bit less on the used market from what I've seen, quite a bit less demand. That price is fair if the scope is mint, but it's not a steal.
 
Leopolds are a good scope. Most of their products come with a life time warranty not limited to the original owner. The only time I needed the warranty was when I put the scope on and couldn't get on paper. They sent the required schims for free.

AFAIK those first three scopes are not LR scopes and aren't really a good base point for a price comparison. The LR scope has a 30mm tube. The others are 1"
