Leupold VX6HD 3-18x44 ZL2 TMOA ...are they worth the money?

I'm seeing them listed north of 3400.00 these days.

Can the price be justified?

I've got one and it's incredible but the for that money I'd say there is likely cheaper options that will be just as good, for instance I have a few us optic Ts 12x well under 1000$ I've got one on a 300 rum 28 nosler and 6.5 prc and they have all worked flawlessly

I have the exact scope. Wonderful scope. Not for $3400. Bought mine in excellent condition used for about $1000 less.
Very bright and light.

The VX5HD is quite a bit cheaper. Uses the same glass as the VX6HD, but 5x magnification instead of 6x and doesn't include alumina covers, not as many models with illumination either. A good option if looking to save some coin for ammo.

I thought they were around the 2600.00 price tag only a few years ago.

Inflation hit Leupold's in Canada very significantly.
