First 5 shot group fired with the new scope testing on indoor 20 yard range to make sure everything is tight and proper... measured .379" at the widest spot in any direction... if I can manage this at 100 it should be good enough to start going out to long range distances funny thing is at short range seating the bullets off the lands or factory spec made no difference...
Hopefully I will be able to take a trip out on sunday and sight it in at 100 and then start to push it long range...
I think I am going to have BDC turrets made for 69 grain bullets as thats about as heavy I can go with the current barrel and see how far I can push them... Waiting on my cronograph to show up... so I can get accurate specs for the turrets. According to google earth I have just about 1000 yards to play with on our property... I will have to check a few others to see if I have any place I can go more then 1000 yards...
