Need to know if the Leupold VXll 6-18x40 AO has audible "clicks" when adjusting windage or elevation screws? I just picked up a like new one and found it strange to not have any "clicks" .Wouldn't this make it hard for sighting in.etc??

I believe all VX II scopes have click adjustments in the elevation and windage. The VX I and Rifleman series are friction. Phil.

There could be changes in the various models, but my Vari-XII-C has friction adjustments, and no clicks. Works great anyways. I have no need to make ongoing adjustments after it is sighted in.

Thanks guys, just got off the phone with Leupold,it appears my scope was made from 2000-03 and is a Vari-Xll which had the friction ajd while the VXll was made after 2003 and had the "clicks".
