Yes, I would be choked about that, bad service, that..
I purchased a Ruger a few years back, and it had a Mark AR attached, I got around to removing the scope, and there is something rattling in the Ocular eyepiece, never had that before. There are some, were maybe, good guys at Korth a few years ago. I thought I heard it was closing. That is why I asked this community, thanks for your feedback.
It’s the fact that they never asked or informed me just sent some old warehouse relic (it’s new in box, though Leupold own serial number list has it being made a decade ago) as a replacement for a difficult to find 6x mark4. If they told me they couldn’t service it I never would of sent it in.
This is after having me confirm with Leupold USA that the scope was legit because korth couldn’t verify it because laziness, ignorance, general stupidity idk (the competency crisis is real)
Seems to be the norm now. Leupold can’t or won’t service or repair any fixed power mark4 scopes. This was what I was told from the USA location, was told something different from korth initially
Same as Kahles or Swarovski not being able to service or repair any of the zf69,84,95 or zfm scopes
this is a couple of scopes from a company that has made millions of scope and have been in business since the 50's
i work part time in a shop and have pulled four vortex new in the box and they did not function adijments don't move or are seized only a just one way
i think people that use leupold know why they use leupold
That’s really ####ty of them! I be suprised if Trace couldn’t repair it but maybe not. Korths customer service the last while seems to be slipping! If I end up with a Leupold optic buying an estate or in a gun deal, I sell it. Just picked up two in a gun deal this weekend and they’ll be on the EE shortly!
