Aimpoint did for folks who run Helmet mounted NODS-- 2 MOA T1 (or T2 whatever they call it).
It was next to impossible to effectively shoot passively with the T1 as the dot gave an really weird bloom (oval) picture - and this was the reason the EO's have been used by some folks.
* Passive as in not running your PEQ, the bad guys have all sort of II stuff now if you trying to hit a HVT.
