+1.
I have had, and continue to use several Mark4's, but having acquired a NF NSX, I would concur with Jamie...worth the extra bucks, and it will be the only scope that graces the top of any more precision/tactical rigs...Nuff said!
The Mark4s have gone up to a price where they are as much as the NSXs ( unless you are paying $1200 for one out of the states )
I have Mark4 M1 illuminated and NSXs, S&B PMII and IORs . The Best bang for the buck is IOR and the NSXs . NSXs have a incredible selection of recticles. You can get their new MLR recticle and have the knobs changed to milliradian clicks on the NSX
NF have way more adjustment ( only the "true" Mark 4 16 has 140MO and true Mark 4 10X at 90MOA are in the ballpark ) The variables have only 65MOA
You can get a zero stop added later ( but hard to get right now though....btw the "law enforcement only" for the Zero stop they have on their website is not entirely correct ) . I would give the edge to clarity on the NSX
Only thing I prefer on the Leupold is the ease of adjusting brightness on the illumination. On the NSXs its not as easy
You cannot get zero stop on the Mark 4 without going to a single turn M3 , which has coarse 1MOA elevation adjustment
The only advantage of the Mark 4s is you can now get them with front focal plane ( like a S&B ). Cant get that in a NSX may or may not be an issue for you.
The S&B PIIs are incredible, but they have crept up in price of the past 5 years.
For $1900 for a NSX at Shooting Edge, you cant go wrong. I would choose that over the Mark 4. IF you have money to burn then go with a S&B PMII or have USO build one to your specs.
