I was in London Drugs to pick up a new tripod and noticed a camera attachment that looks near identical to your mount.
Assume your mount bolts/clamps onto your forend somehow?
Then you have a clamp on attachment on the top of your tripod?
Funny how camera stuff is being integrated into precision rifles.
I went a similar approach where I will simply bolt the T lug to the tripod QD plate. The T lug is clamped onto the rail in my forend. Then the plate can fit into the tripod head fast and simple. Easy in, easy out.... light too.
Gets rid of the need for a hog saddle.
The rifle now can pivot on the tripod like a heavy camera... simple.
