lever action in 44 mag?

One issue is the 94 was designed for rifle cartridges and has a longer action and lever throw, whereas the Marlin was designed for pistol cartridges. My fav is the Rossi 1892 clone.
 
Have had a Marlin 44 Mag for quite a while, micro groove but shoots a 310 gr. Lee flat point gas check cast in pure linotype quite well with a full dose of WW296. Accurate, nice to carry and scope sits on top without any of this angle eject bs. Hits like a sledge hammer out to about 125 yards. Good gun.
