Any first hand knowledge or experience?

Long story short, I am going to keep my Winchester Trails End takedown since I was apparently asking way to much in the EE and I'd rather store it and shoot it occasionally than give it away. I have a Skinner sights case coming for it, but would like a sling for longer days in the field.

Because it is a takedown, I imagine I'm looking for cobra cinch style shotgun slings that have straps front and rear.

Any other suggestions for a quick on and off sling design?

Nothing fancy on my takedown 358 BLR, just a lightweight 1" nylon sling for stowability with QD swivels as shown on my 9mm JR Carbine.

I wish it was that easy! The Winchester doesn't have sling swivels, and with the mag tube on a 94 I don't think mounting a clamp on version will work very well, as the mag tube has to be removed to take down.

Right, now I see how the Trails End takes down. My BLR wasn't equipped with sling swivel studs so I installed the Uncle Mike's type which are also available for your rifle. Ideally the front swivel stud should be on the forend band. Could the front swivel stud be screwed into the forend like on my BLR?
