Which lever action rifles come in the calibers 5.56/.223 or 7.62 x39?

When comparing these calibers is 7.62 x39 to big for coyotes and wolves?
Which other calibers compare to 5.56/223?

Thx

I want a lever action but i need something bigger then 22LR, but not a caliber meant for big game ( i have a .308)

22-250 rem, 222 rem or 223

Are any of these calibers cheaper then the others to shoot and are all good for coyote and wolves

For Wolves, I might consider the .22-250...... IMOP, the others are marginal at best....... My last timberwolf was over 100 pounds ...... The .22-250 is middle of the pack of your three in regards to expense....... If you learn to reload, it's all a non factor......

Am i right in saying 223 is the cheapest and readily available ammo at stores? And that 5.56 is cheaper then the 223?

I believe the Savage 99 is available in 243 and 250-3000. Good strong rifle with either a detachable mag or rotary mag.

My LGS has one of these in 243 (also chambered in 223 & 308) ordered for me. Henry Long Ranger... No idea if it will ever arrive lol

Yep..... But in my opinion, not a wolf caliber...... Others may differ......

For once Superbrad and I are going to agree on a calibre choice.

.223/5.56 tops out at Coyotes, IMHO. Even with Hornady SST bullets.

Gophers, ground hogs, badgers, beavers (only on private land when you're shooting them as a pest - otherwise "fur bearing species" rules apply and trap only), coyotes... Past that, you're pushing your luck.

Anyone know other sources to buy a lever action in .223? Or where i can order the browning blr in 223

If you want local, try Al Flaherty's to see if they can order one.
Or, a couple minutes Googling found both .22-250 and .223 BLR's at different Cdn retailers. A phone call or email would confirm if they have stock.
