Looking to ad in another Lever Action to the fray in 44Mag/Spl, but I’m not up to speed on Henry alternatives.
18-20” versions non John Wick style, just not my thing.

Marlin Classic 94

IMO the best there is in 44 mag.

I'm completely satisfied with my Rossi 92 in 454. I went through a few Rossi 92's in 44 mag (Ranch hand with full butt and a 20' carbine) until I got the 454, all were fine, just not the caliber I wanted.

I ended up with a Ruger/Marlin classic a while back in 44 mag, was an impulse purchase that was quickly sent on to a new owner. Quality was very good, but was not gonna get used here.

I can not speak as to the Henry, never even held one before.

My understanding of the Chiappa's is that they look good on the outside, but thats where it ends. (No personal experience though)
