Lever gun ammo

not sure if this is the right place to ask. I have a question about the 357 lever guns.
can they shoot 38special?

Depends on the manufacturer! I have a Rossi Puma that will shoot either, I also have a Browning B92 that ONLY likes .357 brass. Check the barrel markings to see if it indicates 1 caliber or 2.

i dont have one yet. but looking forward to buying one. that's why i asked the quesion about the ammo to calculate approximate costs

problem will be with the elevator and not the chamber in my mind. Aguila mini shotshells will only work with some shotguns without modifications, same basic principle.

My Marlin likes what ever I put through it, just not wadcutters... for the obvious reason.
