Just thought I would pass this along. Ordered a sling and butt cover for my Marlin SBL. Prices are reasonable and reputation is outstanding. Mine will be similar to below:

I have had quite a few leather products mad by Rob at Simply Rugged in Alaska. I have a few of his cartridge cuffs for a few of my my lever guns, quality work at a decent price.

The loop lays flat so no it does not appear at all when shooting.

I just ordered a 6 round butt stock carrier for my 1895 Marlin in 45-70.
Easy to talk to and communicate with.

The prices are on his site. Depends on what options you choose. 2 tone carving etc etc. I think they start around 60$. I bought the matching sling with my name on it and added 5 cartridge loops to my butt cover. Came to about 160$
