Sadly I’m at that age where Optics are better over Irons/Peeps. It maybe an option however, so won’t totally discount your suggestion.

Not exactly what you are requesting but you may find this interesting. It is a base to mount a red dot pistol sight on a Henry lever. Only available for the Henry but other models are being developed as we speak. Check it out here. jcprecision.ca the sight is still under construction but there is a picture of what it is.

Leupold scout (1.5×4) on a Marlin SBL 336. I like irons but eyes are bad during dusk and dawn, especially in the woods. This scope is awesome, infact i like it so much I bought one for my Ruger scout in .308 as well. Its rocking the Ruger QRW2 low rings. Can consistently hit a 2" circle at 100 meters with the 3030 Im not doing that with irons....
