Picked up a jog of leverevolution powder back when wholesale closed. Does anyone have experience with loading their 223 with said powder? Thinking of loading up bulk 55gr soft points.

Ya I guess that’s what the general consensus is, that it might work for heavier bullets. I guess I just wanted to use the cheapest powder I have to go along with cheap bullets. Anyone know of a heavier cheap bulk soft point ?

Hornady 75 grain and 68 grain HPBT, Sierra Matchkings also come in bulk that is just off the top of my head. Most of bulk options are either match or FMJ although there are some polymer tipped options as well. Does your rifle have the twist for the heavies?

I’ve got the factory 1:9 twist. I’ve shot steel out to 500 with 69smks. I see budget has 68’s for a bit more, might have to try some of thise

But on the less expensive side, I would use the Hornady 75 grain BTHP. I have found these will stabilize in my 1:9 twist barrels. YMMV
I have read that LE is temp sensitive, I wouldn't push max loads if i wanted to use this in a wide range of temperatures.
