Leverevolution

Leverevolution was optimized for the small capacity bottle necked .30-30 so is way too slow burning for the straight walled .45-70 cartridge.
The Hodgdon site only recommends its H322 under the 325 gn pill, which is closer to IMR 4198, my favourite go to for all things .45-70.
If you want to weird out with LVR, try pushing a .311" 150 gn pill out of 7.62x39 with it. Probably be more up its alley...

I was asking the question because my local supplier of reloading supplies was out of H-322 with no date on future shipments. I did find 3 lbs at Bullseye North that will keep me shooting for a while. Thanks to you both for your insight.
Mike
