LF 6mm-284 Load Data

I have a 6mm-284 with a 1 - 12" twist rate that I am looking for a new predator load for.

I'm thinking 87gr bullets would be the heaviest that I would try and would like to work with 70gr bullets due to the twist rate being so slow.

Anyone load for the 6mm-284 that loads bullets in these weights that could share their data would be greatly appreciated.

Camp - Can't recall if I shoot a 10 or 12 twist, but here's what I have
105 gr Horn - 53.5 gr H-1000
105 gr Berger - 53.5 gr H-1000
These 2 loads are excellent .250 or better
95 gr Nos - 42.0 gr RL-19
This is also a very good load. I shoot a lot of 95's because of availability.
The following are some notes I've made but have not shot these loads
56.0 gr 4831sc - 87 gr VMax 1.3 in group @ 540 yds
56.5 gr RL19 - 75 gr VMax 1.7 in group @ 540 yds
60.0 gr H1000 - 80 gr (likely hot-start lower)
54.0 gr H1000 - 107 gr SMK or 105 gr AMax - 3400fps
Recommended start 51.0 grs
Best 105 group 52.0 grs H-1000

I have been having a terrible time trying to get this gun to group with 100gr Partitions so I finally got around to checking the twist rate which like I mentioned above is 1 - 12".

I finally loaded 70gr Ballistic Tips and 87gr Hornady HP's and got to the range yesterday.

My barrel is only 21" long but with IMR 4350 powder and the 70gr BT's I was getting 3630fps and they seemed to be grouping nicely.

I had only loaded a few so wasn't able to work on a group like I would have liked too so I loaded more up last night and I'm heading back out to the range today.

According to my ballistic program this load if sighted in at 225 yards is 1.4" high @ 150 yards, 3.8" low @ 300 yards and only 13.2" low @ 400 yards where it is still doing 2400fps and still has 900 ft/lbs of energy.

All I can say is "WOW"...

I should have mentioned that a friend who was shooting some sort of a 6mm told me that his came to life with H1000 and I think mine got better also. Mine seems to like a little heavier bullet
