[CanAm]

Can any FAL gurus tell me about this rifle:

- Made by FN
- no flash hider
- lug on barrel
- sling swivel close to stock
- plastic grip and forend.
- Arabic serial number

Any info you can tell me is appreciated.

Definitely not Hebrew. They are indeed Arabic.

It is the feature points that interest me and how they place the gun in the series.

Is there a tree stamped on the receiver ?

no tree, just arabic s/n with a couple arabic letters after.

no FH so I assume it is early, but after the wood FE.

I will have to get a copy of that giant book from Collector Grade.

On a side note, I assume Linya took delivery of later guns as well, given that the ones I saw were packed in styrofoam (not 1955)

Nope, did the metric guns have that?
