Can any FAL gurus tell me about this rifle:

- Made by FN
- no flash hider
- lug on barrel
- sling swivel close to stock
- plastic grip and forend.
- Arabic serial number

no FH so I assume it is early, but after the wood FE.

I will have to get a copy of that giant book from Collector Grade.

On a side note, I assume Linya took delivery of later guns as well, given that the ones I saw were packed in styrofoam (not 1955)
 
I had my hands on a Kuwaiti issue folding stock FAL in Kuwait City in the aftermath of the Gulf War. It was badly burnt and I don' recall the markings.

Full length receiver cover?
Back sight style?
Semi or full auto selector switch?

Recognizing the letters doesn't really help, sides, they're numbers...

Don't recognize the final symbol. My arabic sucks.


ETA - Showed the pic to a guy here, he is pretty sure it is Lebanese.
