does anyone knows a related site about ross bayo markings?
or just take a look at the picts,i'd like to know which model it is,mfg date,etc...take a look at the scabbard markings too.
also,is it hard to find some woodgrips,just too bad the half of one side is missing...

Mk. II bayonet made December 1916. This was the bayonet for the Mk. III (1910) rifle. Scabbard is a WW2 replacement made by Carson, 1941. What is the profile of the blade? Is it butcher knife shaped, or is it a rather odd looking long tapered point?
You might be able to find a replacement grip. Restoration might be faster.
 
That is the modifed blade. Apart from the one damaged scale, you have a very nice Mk. II bayonet and scabbard set. That particular bayonet is the version most often seen. If an original replacement piece cannot be located, either restoring the broken one, or a newly manufactured scale would be practical repairs.

Other option would be to keep checking eBAY for really rough one for parts. Sometimes see ones with bad blades or so called "fighting knives" (grandpa's old huntin' knife), that go fairly cheap. That is unless eBAY bans the listing of bayonets.

ross is very interesting stuff but i don't think i like it enough to start collecting related articles.
