LF M14/M1A Receiver barrel thread tap

Would anyone have a tap to chase the receiver barrel threads. I have a Norinco receiver with tight threads.

Yes....
Major diameter is 0.918
Minor diameter is 0.975
pitch is 10 TPI

It is SQUARE Thread

Better to take some off the barrel threads than the reciever. Way harder to put it back then take it off.

No it is an Acme thread, can't remember if its regular or stub.

I take it that you already put a dab of grease on the threads before trying to assemble? It's quite normal for the threads to be a little tight
